Quayside by Dale Bowen is an atmospheric mixed-media harbour painting filled with texture, character and quiet coastal atmosphere. A cluster of weathered buildings overlooks a small group of boats resting beside the quay.

Dale’s combination of layered paint, expressive line and richly textured surfaces gives the old façades their distinctive timeworn character. Slender masts lead the eye from the boats towards the tightly gathered rooftops above.
