Stephen Ring started his artistic career painting and selling from the iron railings, which adorn Hyde Park before moving to the beautiful county of Devon where his natural artistic talent was ignited.

Oceans in Your Soul ¬ Down by the Sea

Painted on aluminium panels, then primed with two coats of gesso. Stephen uses acrylic inks, alcohol inks, resin paste and powder, and silver and gold dust. By blending the colours using a variety of techniques, Stephen achieves a painting with no hard lines that give the appearance of motion, that change and affect the image in differing light.
