Large-Scale Floral Oil Paintings | Ukraine – UK
Tanya is an emerging Ukrainian artist celebrated for her luminous, large-scale floral oil paintings. Trained at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts, she brings together the precision of illustration and the freedom of painterly expression. Her works are distinguished by exquisite detail, a soft yet powerful presence, and a harmonious balance of strength and delicacy.
Her compositions often feature dynamic floral forms and subtle sacred geometry, evoking beauty, emotion, and a love of life. Each brushstroke is the result of deep concentration, patience, and an intimate dialogue with the canvas, making every piece a unique reflection of the artist herself.
Displaced to the UK during wartime with her two young sons, Tanya found refuge in North Devon. Supported by a local family, she continued to paint while learning the language and adapting to a new culture. In 2023, her large-scale works were exhibited at the prestigious Art Biennale, London.
Now back in Ukraine, Tanya maintains close ties to North Devon, returning often to visit friends and supporters. Her art is sought after both nationally and internationally, not only for its beauty, but for the resilience and human story it carries.
