"I use both Raku and Stoneware clays, usually sculpting from a solid block and then hollowing out the piece and completing the details. The work is fired first in the electric kiln, generally to about 1300 C. When cooled it is glazed using glazes I have made, and then fired again in a Raku kiln in the garden"
