Dancing Sunbeams is a vibrant original seascape filled with colour and shifting coastal light. Coral, peach and golden skies sweep above cool turquoise water, while the shoreline catches the last glowing reflections of the day.

Working in layers of oil and mixed media, Amy combines softly blended colour with expressive textured marks. Flashes of orange and magenta dance across the wet sand and water, creating movement and an almost luminous surface.

The meeting of warm sky and cool sea gives the painting an uplifting, joyful energy. Part of Amy Jobes’s Dance Collection, it captures the fleeting drama of light across the North Devon coast.
